Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of progressively responsible HR experience with independent management scope.
- Demonstrated expertise in recruiting, onboarding, benefits, leave, and performance management.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and multi-state support experience.
- Ability to research complex HR issues and provide actionable recommendations.
- Experience in developing and optimizing HR policies and infrastructure.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting federal government contractors is preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and managers regarding employment matters.
- Manage end-to-end recruiting, hiring, and pre-employment screening processes.
- Oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration.
- Support managers with performance management, employee relations, and workplace concerns.
- Develop and improve HR policies, procedures, and documentation to support growth.
- Monitor federal, state, and local employment laws to ensure organizational compliance.
- Coordinate with IT, security, payroll, and legal functions to support business requirements.
