Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience building production applications.
- 5+ years designing and owning production application architecture.
- Strong hands-on coding ability in Java, C#, TypeScript, Go, or Kotlin.
- Experience building modern web front-end applications and backend web APIs/services.
- Experience planning and delivering work for a team and managing dependencies.
- Experience with structured release practices for multi-service systems.
- Understanding of API design, authentication, authorization, and data modeling.
- Knowledge of AI-first application patterns (tool calling, prompt engineering, context management).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture, technical direction, and engineering standards for the Workforce platform.
- Define service boundaries, API contracts, data flows, and integration patterns.
- Lead design for AI-enabled features including LLM integration, tool calling, and context management.
- Lead technical execution, including solution design, task breakdown, estimation, and code review.
- Serve as Release Manager for the platform’s multi-service release train.
- Contribute directly to the codebase with hands-on feature implementation and critical-path work.
- Partner with the Product Manager to translate roadmap priorities into executable plans.
