Requirements
- Strong product design background with a portfolio showcasing experience in ambiguous, 0 to 1 problems.
- Demonstrated fluency with AI-first design processes and experience prototyping with modern AI models.
- Proactive ideation skills with a track record of identifying problems and proposing solutions independently.
- Strong prototyping skills with the ability to build concepts rather than just describing them.
- Systems thinking ability to define interaction patterns and anticipate their downstream consequences.
- Experience working with B2B, enterprise-scale, or otherwise complex software products.
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, early-stage environments where requirements may evolve.
- Familiarity with customer journeys, service design, or research practices is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Define the human-AI relationship within the product to determine where users maintain control and where AI automates tasks.
- Develop design patterns for trust and control that ensure AI interactions feel safe and dependable.
- Create new interaction patterns for AI features, addressing edge cases such as waiting times, cost, and handling incorrect results.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and researchers to transform new capabilities into useful, end-to-end experiences.
- Establish consistent design patterns to evolve the company's design language.
- Proactively identify problems and lead solutions through continuous prototyping rather than relying on static specs.
- Conduct user research through interviews and sales/customer success interactions to inform design decisions.
