Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic business development, marketing, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of agency dynamics, marketing, underwriting, and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in interpreting competitive data and industry trends.
- Ability to ensure compliance with insurance laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
- Demonstrated customer-centric mindset and decision-making ability.
- Ability to perform frequent day and overnight travel (60% - 80% of time).
- Progress toward or completion of professional certifications such as AU, CPCU, CIC, INS, or ARM is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic marketing plans, considering agency strengths, competitors, and market conditions.
- Identify and secure profitable new business opportunities in target markets.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key agencies by providing tailored insurance solutions.
- Educate agencies on product features, market placement, and effective selling techniques.
- Drive revenue growth by achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Develop and execute cross-selling and up-selling strategies.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
