Requirements
- 3 to 7 years of software quality assurance experience for web or SaaS applications.
- Deep experience in exploratory and manual testing of complex, data-heavy systems.
- Demonstrable experience using AI assistants for test design, data generation, and debugging.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation in PostgreSQL.
- Experience testing APIs with tools like Postman, curl, or Bruno.
- Strong understanding of HTTP, REST, and JSON.
- Knowledge of web security testing including authentication (OAuth2/SAML), CSRF, and XSS.
- Experience with accessibility testing (WCAG 2.2 AA).
- Familiarity with Jira for defect tracking and test management.
- Comfortable with command-line interfaces, Git, and reading logs.
- Knowledge of the legal domain (e-filing, docketing) is a plus.
- ISTQB or similar QA certification.
Responsibilities
- Test AI-driven document categorization and LLM features for accuracy, hallucinations, and prompt injection.
- Perform risk-based exploratory and regression testing across web dashboards, admin tools, and email notifications.
- Verify backend and platform functionality using SQL queries, API calls, and log analysis.
- Validate integrations with third-party court portals and systems like Clio, iManage, and NetDocuments.
- Document and triage defects by creating detailed reports actionable by engineers or AI agents.
- Develop automated tests for high-risk flows using tools like Playwright where appropriate.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams during sprint planning to define testable acceptance criteria.
