Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
- Minimum of 6 years of related professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in Data Center or Critical Power business development, with a focus on strategic data center growth across North America.
- Proven ability to develop new business, manage pipelines, penetrate strategic accounts, and achieve measurable bookings or sales targets.
- Strong understanding of customer organizations, market dynamics, competitive environments, sourcing strategies, and technology trends within the data center sector.
- Strong understanding of financial metrics, including the ability to interpret P&L statements, balance sheets, ROI indicators, and other commercial performance measures.
- Strong account planning, proposal development, negotiation, relationship management, and business development capabilities.
- Ability to travel as required to support customers, business development activities, and strategic accounts.
Responsibilities
- Qualify new customers, generate new business opportunities, and build a sustainable pipeline aligned with business unit growth strategies.
- Develop and execute account strategies designed to position solutions effectively and convert opportunities into long-term business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including understanding their organizational structures, products, market positions, sourcing strategies, and future plans.
- Lead account planning, proposal development, quoting intelligence, customer meetings, contract negotiations, and the associated approval process.
- Present, sell, and support the delivery of end-to-end solutions spanning concept development, design and engineering, industrial design, manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics.
- Collaborate with internal teams and executive leadership to maximize mutual value for customers and the organization.
