Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of professional experience in public relations, communications, or advertising industries.
- Proven experience in integrated healthcare PR.
- Demonstrated ability to grow existing business and contribute strategically to new business.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet timelines and manage detailed budgets.
- Strong data orientation and ability to break down complex business challenges into measurable steps.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to explain technical terms and clinical studies.
- Management experience with the ability to empower staff and support professional development.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growing, and evolving environment.
- Availability for approximately 10% domestic travel for client meetings and conferences.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop multiple client engagements of varying sizes in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide counsel on research findings, industry knowledge, marketplace trends, and competitive pressures to drive strategic initiatives.
- Empower and lead internal cross-functional teams to ensure technical and operational excellence.
- Provide strategic direction for the business and identify opportunities for integrated business growth.
- Maintain financial accountability for the performance of engagements and manage budgets.
- Collaborate with practice and shared service leads to streamline and innovate tactical processes.
