Requirements
- Experience in communications, public affairs, or policy roles.
- Proven ability to write clearly and persuasively for diverse audiences (media, policymakers, executives, public).
- Strong understanding of the policy and regulatory environment relevant to mental health.
- Strong project management and administrative skills.
- Ability to work independently under time pressure.
- Excellent judgement, discretion, and organizational skills.
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and ability to learn quickly.
- Confident working collaboratively in a remote, geographically dispersed team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver communications strategies reaching key audiences in collaboration with marketing and external agencies.
- Draft and manage various materials including press releases, talking points, executive briefings, op-eds, and policy position papers.
- Monitor cultural, policy, legislative, and regulatory developments to provide actionable insights for leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, policymakers, clinical leaders, and regulators.
- Represent the company in industry coalitions, working groups, and public forums.
- Partner with senior leadership, commercial, research, and marketing teams to inform strategic decisions.
- Lead the development of tools and systems to track and maximize communication impact, including ownership of project management tools.
