- Proven experience as a people operations leader in a fast-growing organization.
- Experience scaling people operations and building high-performing, mission-driven workplace cultures.
- Expertise in recruiting for design and technology roles such as product managers, engineers, and researchers.
- Knowledge of labor laws and experience ensuring organizational compliance.
- Strong data and analytical skills with experience using HRIS and ATS platforms.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working with remote teams.
- Ability to travel for work from time to time.
- Passionate about creating better public outcomes through government services.
Responsibilities
- Manage the talent life cycle from workforce planning to onboarding and offboarding.
- Provide leadership to the Head of Recruiting and oversee the broader talent acquisition function.
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and manage employee relations.
- Manage and optimize HRIS systems and define organizational structures.
- Design and execute company-wide employee engagement and performance management programs.
- Develop and improve professional capability frameworks for career-pathing.
- Partner with executive team and business unit leaders to align people strategy with business needs.
- Implement data-driven approaches to improve talent outcomes and HR practices.
