Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active U.S. bar membership in good standing.
- 8 or more years of focused healthcare regulatory and health tech transactional experience.
- Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating BAAs and other healthcare-specific contracts.
- Expert-level knowledge of HIPAA, FDA, and digital health regulatory frameworks.
- Experience using AI tools in daily legal practice.
- Proven ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance for non-legal stakeholders.
- Experience building legal precedent libraries or template systems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to health tech clients across HIPAA, compliance, and healthcare regulatory matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate BAAs and other healthcare-specific contracts, including vendor, data-sharing, and health data agreements.
- Build and maintain healthcare contract templates and precedent libraries integrated into AI-native workflows.
- Develop training materials and lead sessions for other attorneys who encounter healthcare questions in their work.
- Contribute practical, usable healthcare guidance to internal knowledge databases.
- Provide actionable guidance on FDA and digital health regulatory frameworks directly to health tech founders and teams.
