Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering or infrastructure experience.
- 5+ years leading platform, DevX, or infrastructure teams at a Director level or equivalent.
- Proven track record scaling AI-assisted development tools across large engineering organizations (300+ engineers).
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and rollout of engineering standards at scale.
- Technical leadership in modern DevOps practices operating in the cloud, specifically AWS.
- Production-scale experience with Kubernetes (k8s), ArgoCD, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Mastery of modern coding assistant technologies (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude).
- Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Experience in complex, multi-team engineering environments managing cross-functional stakeholder priorities.
- Nice-to-have: Experience building internal custom AI tooling, fine-tuning models, or RAG pipelines.
- Nice-to-have: Background in fintech, payments, or highly regulated environments.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy and roadmap for AI-augmented developer platform, including developer tooling and service infrastructure.
- Drive company-wide standardization for building and shipping software, including service templating and AI-driven guardrails.
- Lead, grow, and develop a team of engineers and engineering managers.
- Scale developer experience by architecting infrastructure for coding assistants and agentic workflows.
- Optimize the inner loop by managing local developer workstation environments and containerized build strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership, product, and CTO to align platform investments with company strategy.
- Define and track key metrics including developer satisfaction, deployment frequency, and system reliability.
- Represent the organization in executive-level discussions to communicate business impact and technical strategy.
