Job Details

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public relations, journalism, communications, or a related field.
At least eight years of progressive experience in public relations or corporate communications within a complex environment.
Substantial experience executing media relations strategies across local, regional, national, and trade media.
Proven experience serving as a spokesperson and preparing senior executives for media interviews.
Demonstrated experience planning and delivering public-facing events and managing multiple stakeholders.
Ability to independently manage multiple complex projects and deliver results under changing deadlines.
Excellent organizational, project management, writing, editing, and communication skills.
Sound judgment and ability to effectively manage emerging issues and sensitive situations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with public relations and content management systems.
Ability to travel up to 20% as required.

Develop and execute public relations and media relations strategies to increase brand awareness and business growth.
Write and oversee high-quality content including press releases, bylined articles, speeches, and talking points.
Serve as an organizational spokesperson and provide media training and preparation for senior leadership.
Lead issue management and crisis communications planning in collaboration with Legal.
Build and maintain productive relationships with reporters, producers, and community stakeholders.
Plan and execute public relations and community engagement for events, new store openings, and major initiatives.
Manage project scopes, budgets, and deliverables while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
