Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in substation engineering.
- Minimum 4 years in a leadership or team management role.
- Strong knowledge of Protection & Control (P&C) and Substation Physical principles.
- Proficiency with industry-standard regulations and compliance.
- Ability to develop and manage financial statements and project budgets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with VP to implement multi-year group plans for growth and profitability.
- Strengthen client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and workload forecasting for substation design teams.
- Manage quality control, project deliverables, and financial reporting.
- Develop and enforce Standard Best Practices (SBPs) and technical workflows.
- Mentor Team Leads and engineers to foster a high-performance culture.
