Requirements
- 4-6+ years designing web-based B2B SaaS or internal tools with emphasis on complex workflows and data-rich interfaces.
- Portfolio showing end-to-end projects, design decision-making, user research, user flows, and production UI deliverables.
- Fluency in Figma.
- Eagerness to work with and help evolve AI-assisted design workflows.
- Experience contributing to a design system, including components, patterns, and documentation.
- Solid understanding of information architecture and how to structure data-heavy experiences for clarity.
- Strong UX fundamentals and craft, with growing systems thinking.
- Track record collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating design rationale grounded in user and business insight.
Responsibilities
- Design interaction flows and UI components that help brokers and agency leaders take effective action on key data, like production trends, contracting gaps, or commission issues.
- Translate complex datasets and reporting into clear, intuitive workflows, visualizations, and controls.
- Conduct user research (discovery interviews, usability tests) and use those findings to shape design decisions and validate UX patterns.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data to ship features across the full product lifecycle, from prototypes through post-launch iteration.
- Incorporate AI tools into your design process, such as research synthesis, rapid prototyping, or exploring design directions.
- Contribute reusable components, interaction patterns, and documentation to Spark's design system.
- Apply and help refine information architecture and navigation patterns to reduce cognitive load and improve user decision-making.
