Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- 12+ years of technology experience in enterprise data platforms, cloud, and analytics.
- 5+ years of architecture or senior technical leadership experience.
- Deep experience architecting data solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, and Medallion Architecture.
- Technical foundation in SQL, Python, Spark, and data modeling.
- Understanding of AI/GenAI architectures including RAG, embeddings, and vector search.
- Knowledge of data governance (Microsoft Purview, Unity Catalog) and security (Azure Entra ID, RBAC).
- Experience with client discovery, presales solution architecture, and proposal development.
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted Data & AI architecture advisor to client business and technology stakeholders.
- Lead client discovery and architecture workshops to create modernization roadmaps.
- Guide architecture decisions across Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks platforms.
- Support presales activities including solution shaping, estimations, and proposals.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects and engineering teams.
- Define target-state architectures, standards, and reusable design patterns.
- Design solutions leveraging Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, RAG, and vector search.
