Requirements
- Track record of architecting, building, and shipping substantial web applications through production.
- Deep hands-on experience with TypeScript and React.
- Strong understanding of modern web application architecture, including state, API integration, and performance.
- Hands-on experience with Three.js and browser-based 3D applications (strongly preferred).
- Experience developing design or CAD tools.
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI-forward development and agentic product experiences.
- Ability to make technical decisions independently in partnership with product/design leads.
- Proven judgment in balancing immediate product needs with generalizable system design.
- Experience mentoring and guiding less experienced engineers.
- Comfort working in ambiguous environments with a growth mindset.
Responsibilities
- Rapidly prototype new home design workflows and turn them into customer-ready software.
- Lead development of interactive 3D home design workflows, connecting UI, design data, and 3D scenes.
- Build AI-supported and agentic interactions for the home design experience.
- Own application architecture and technical delivery, including performance, reliability, and testing.
- Serve as an independent technical partner to product and UX leads to define features and resolve risks.
- Partner with the platform team to implement and document shared application foundations.
- Provide technical guidance, code review, and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
