Requirements
- 2–5+ years of experience in payment processing, fintech, merchant services, acquiring, or banking
- Hands-on understanding of the payment lifecycle
- Experience with merchant onboarding and account management
- Knowledge of authorization, settlement, funding, refunds, and chargebacks
- Experience with payment reconciliation and investigating transaction discrepancies
- Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple operational priorities simultaneously
- Experience with platforms such as Stripe, Adyen, Worldpay, Fiserv, or similar is desirable
- Knowledge of PCI DSS, fraud prevention, and payments compliance is a plus
Responsibilities
- Monitor day-to-day payment processing activity and transaction flows
- Support the onboarding of new merchants from application through activation
- Assist with daily and periodic reconciliation of payment transactions
- Monitor and manage chargeback and dispute workflows
- Maintain regular payment operations reports and track KPIs
- Create and improve SOPs for recurring payment processes
- Document merchant onboarding and operational workflows
