Requirements
- Prior experience managing or leading engineers.
- Hands-on full-stack or backend engineering experience.
- Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.
- Proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Node.js, C#, or Go.
- Experience with REST APIs and WebSocket-based, real-time services.
- Familiarity with relational or in-memory data stores like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or MongoDB.
- Experience running production systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure with Docker/Kubernetes.
- Comfort building 0-to-1 in ambiguous or fast-changing product environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Hire, onboard, and grow a team of full-stack and backend engineers for a brand-new product.
- Run regular 1:1s, set clear goals, and provide direct feedback.
- Partner with Product and Design to define and prioritize the product roadmap.
- Guide architecture decisions for a real-time trading interface and execution systems.
- Review pull requests and stay hands-on with code to unblock engineers.
- Own delivery through ambiguity, including sprint planning and scope adjustment.
- Establish testing, code quality, and CI/CD standards.
- Manage production reliability, observability, and incident response.
- Represent product progress, risks, and needs in cross-functional planning.
