Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years managing engineers, ideally on platform, infrastructure, or developer experience teams.
- Track record of managing and growing senior and staff-level ICs.
- Hands-on AWS background strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Terraform and Kubernetes is a significant plus.
- Proven success partnering with product counterparts to deliver on a shared roadmap.
- Experience with CI/CD, internal tooling, and self-service infrastructure.
- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and FERPA.
- Experience with monitoring and observability at scale.
- Familiarity with the infrastructure demands and monitoring of AI workloads.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and grow a team of senior and staff-level platform engineers.
- Partner with staff engineers on architecture and system design tradeoffs.
- Drive platform initiatives for performance, resiliency, and operational maturity.
- Support AI workloads by ensuring infrastructure is observable, cost-aware, and secure.
- Shape the platform roadmap in partnership with the Lead Product Manager.
- Drive alignment on multi-team initiatives across engineering, security, and operations.
