Requirements
- Experience leading growth at an early-stage SaaS, API, developer-tools, or AI infrastructure company.
- Demonstrated history of acquiring users from an early stage with clear metrics.
- Deep understanding of developer audiences and technical product adoption.
- Hands-on ability to analyze funnels, run experiments, and conduct customer calls.
- Technical aptitude to understand API integrations and follow documentation.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and external specialists.
- Strong written English communication skills.
- Comfort working directly with a founder in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with usage-based pricing, technical SEO, and AI model platforms is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target initial customer segments including AI startups, independent developers, and agencies.
- Execute acquisition strategy across SEO, developer communities, partnerships, and paid campaigns.
- Own the full customer journey from website visit to first API request and payment.
- Source and close early customers while building a repeatable sales process.
- Recruit and manage freelancers, agencies, and future team members across growth and developer relations.
- Maintain a growth dashboard tracking acquisition, activation, retention, and API usage.
- Collaborate with engineering to remove onboarding friction and improve documentation.
