Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in land surveying, survey drafting, quality control, or related technical environment.
- Strong understanding of land surveying principles, survey drawings, field data, coordinate systems, and boundary information.
- Proficiency with CAD drafting, AutoCAD preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with technology platforms such as Trello, SharePoint, and Power BI.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in technical data.
- Ability to provide clear, professional, and constructive feedback.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel to field locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Review survey drawings, field data, and project deliverables for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance.
- Verify coordinate systems, boundary closures, title exceptions, and other critical survey elements.
- Identify discrepancies and communicate findings clearly to team members.
- Perform redline reviews and ensure corrections are incorporated into final deliverables.
- Partner with staff surveyors and leadership to refine QC processes and develop checklists.
- Train and mentor team members on quality standards, data integrity, and best practices.
