Job Details

7+ years of commercial HVAC experience in installation, startup, commissioning, and QA.
Expertise in rooftop units (RTUs), make-up air, heat pumps, refrigeration, economizers, and controls.
Experience as a Site Superintendent, Commissioning Agent, Lead Installer, or TAB Technician.
Proven experience overseeing third-party contractors and vendors.
Proficiency in interpreting Test & Balance (TAB) reports, mechanical drawings, and control sequences.
Experience troubleshooting operational and energy performance issues in commercial facilities.
Working knowledge of EMS/BMS/DDC systems and network-connected HVAC equipment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, mobile field applications, and remote collaboration tools.
Ability to travel extensively (75%+) within the US, including overnight, weekends, and extended stays.
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.

Serve as on-site field representative and superintendent during HVAC installation projects.
Lead commissioning, verification, and final acceptance of HVAC replacement projects.
Hold contractors accountable to installation standards, safety requirements, and performance expectations.
Validate installation quality through field inspections, testing procedures, and detailed closeout reviews.
Identify installation deficiencies, escalate issues, and drive corrective actions to resolution.
Provide technical expertise to installation contractors regarding equipment, controls, and energy management systems.
Review installer documentation, startup forms, and commissioning reports for compliance.
Monitor systems post-installation to verify operational performance and ensure successful turnover.
