Requirements
- 12+ years of professional experience in the security domain.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing security organizations.
- Proven experience building net-new functions from scratch.
- Strong technical expertise in cloud-native security, specifically AWS identity, CSPM, EDR, and SIEM operations.
- Deep understanding of modern AppSec tooling and CI/CD security integration.
- Expertise in AI security concepts such as prompt injection, agentic access, model-mediated data exfiltration, and LLM red teaming.
- Experience managing corporate IT functions including identity platforms, endpoint management, and SaaS governance.
- Executive presence with the ability to represent security to the board and enterprise customers.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on enabling business velocity through secure-by-design principles.
Responsibilities
- Stand up the AI security function, including internal AI gateway architecture, agent identity management in AWS, and hardening customer-facing AI surfaces.
- Lead AppSec, SecArch, SecOps, and CloudSec functions plus corporate IT, managing a team of approximately ten people.
- Drive security roadmap initiatives including secure-by-design intake, secrets refactoring, and org-wide RBAC.
- Manage the security narrative for fundraising and enterprise sales, including running customer security reviews and maintaining SOC 2 and PCI compliance technical controls.
- Oversee corporate IT functions including identity management, endpoint fleet, and SaaS administration to ensure security integration.
