Requirements
- Have a strong engineering background in software, platform, infrastructure, or security engineering.
- Bring hands-on experience building and operating complex systems.
- Have solid security fundamentals and practical experience improving security in software development, cloud infrastructure, or production environments.
- Have experience with software delivery security, such as CI/CD, vulnerability management, or supply chain security.
- Understand SaaS security, including protecting customer data, securing applications, and operating cloud-based services.
- Bring technical leadership and ownership, including the ability to drive complex initiatives and collaborate across teams.
- Balance security needs with engineering needs.
- Be interested in emerging AI security capabilities and understand the opportunities and risks AI introduces.
- Familiarity with SLSA, SBOMs, artifact signing, or build provenance would be helpful.
- Familiarity with SAST, SCA, container scanning, AWS, Kubernetes, threat modeling, application security, identity, or secrets management would be helpful.
Responsibilities
- Improve security across CI/CD pipelines, build infrastructure, dependencies, and deployment processes.
- Own and improve vulnerability scanning and remediation tooling, automation, prioritization, and engineering workflow integration.
- Partner with engineering teams to strengthen application, cloud, and infrastructure security.
- Address risks involving customer data, access controls, APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Lead threat modeling and security reviews for critical systems.
- Explore AI security capabilities and help teams address risks from AI-assisted development, agents, and LLM integrations.
- Partner with engineering leadership to identify security gaps, prioritize improvements, and establish practical standards and processes.
- Own security initiatives from design through implementation and help build security expertise across engineering.
