Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field with 4 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience in data operations, engineering, or analysis.
- 2 years of experience leading technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and microservice architectures.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data engineering frameworks such as dbt.
- Experience with production support for data platforms and ELT/ETL pipelines.
- Expertise in cloud cost optimization, infrastructure efficiency, and performance tuning.
- Experience managing production support processes, SLAs, on-call rotations, and incident escalations.
- Familiarity with monitoring, observability frameworks, and operational analytics solutions.
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and access control in data operations.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional incident response and lead Root Cause Analysis.
Responsibilities
- Oversee platform engineering, operations, reliability, supportability, and scalability of data infrastructure and pipelines.
- Define technical stacks, implementation strategies, operational practices, and strategic roadmaps.
- Lead global teams responsible for company data platforms and operations.
- Drive strategic initiatives to enhance reliability, scalability, efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Manage production support processes, SLAs, on-call rotations, and incident escalations.
- Collaborate cross-functional teams to improve data workflows and support analytics goals.
