Requirements
- Significant experience leading complex, high-severity security incidents as an incident commander or technical lead.
- Experience designing and building AI-assisted or agentic automation for security operations (triage, investigation, containment).
- Strong software engineering skills with experience building production tooling and systems.
- Experience owning a security program or capability roadmap end-to-end, including planning and delivery.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native, SaaS, and identity-driven attack techniques.
- Experience designing and running tabletop exercises, gamedays, or similar readiness programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for representing technical tradeoffs to senior leadership.
- Experience mentoring engineers and raising team technical investigative capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as incident manager and technical escalation point for complex, high-severity events.
- Design and build AI-assisted and automated systems to improve triage, investigation, and containment speed.
- Establish safety controls, approval gates, and auditability for automated security actions.
- Own team readiness programs, including designing and running tabletop exercises and gamedays.
- Advance threat hunting and insider risk capabilities by delivering multi-quarter roadmap initiatives.
- Mentor other engineers to strengthen investigative judgment and engineering rigor.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to close gaps surfaced through incident investigations and simulations.
- Foster psychological safety and blameless learning across retrospectives and debriefs.
