Requirements
- 7+ years of commercial legal experience, with substantial responsibility for drafting and negotiating complex technology agreements.
- Prior in-house experience within a technology company.
- Direct experience advising on AI products or services, including commercial terms, data rights, IP, and risk allocation.
- Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in a relevant jurisdiction.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead enterprise commercial negotiations.
- Strong commercial judgment and ability to explain legal/business trade-offs.
- Working knowledge of privacy, data protection, and information security considerations.
- Experience working in a startup environment.
- Experience in cybersecurity, offensive security, or developer tools is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of enterprise customer agreements, SaaS and software licenses, partnership arrangements, and data processing agreements.
- Partner with Sales and Finance on deal structures, negotiation strategies, and practical risk management.
- Advise on AI-related commercial matters including data usage, IP ownership, and liability.
- Support Product, Engineering, and Security teams in assessing legal considerations for new capabilities.
- Advise on legal considerations specific to offensive security, including testing permissions and vulnerability findings.
- Develop scalable legal infrastructure such as contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and approval workflows.
- Provide training and legal guidance to enable business teams to work efficiently.
