Requirements
- JD from a top-tier ABA-accredited law school.
- Active U.S. bar membership.
- 5-7 years of relevant legal experience.
- Experience in both large law firm and in-house roles.
- Experience in financial services or digital assets sectors.
- Deep expertise in financial regulation, commercial transactions, and corporate governance.
- Experience with stablecoin issuance, digital asset custody, or blockchain infrastructure preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on product development involving stablecoins, payments, blockchain, and digital asset services.
- Advise on financial services regulations, BSA/AML/CFT compliance, sanctions, IP, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
- Support domestic and international licensing, regulatory strategy, and direct engagement with regulators.
- Draft and negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements.
- Support corporate governance and venture financing activities.
- Translate evolving regulatory requirements into actionable business guidance.
- Lead high-stakes legal projects and manage outside counsel.
