- Active license or registration to practice as a therapist in California (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Licensed Psychologist, AMFT, ACSW, or APCC).
- Active NPI and Medicaid/Medicare enrollment.
- 1 year of experience working with adult patients with severe mental illness (SMI).
- Experience leading virtual group therapy sessions and managing group dynamics.
- Proficiency in evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
- Available weekday mornings and evenings (Pacific Time).
- Technologically savvy with ability to learn new tools and use AI-based tools.
- Thorough understanding of confidentiality and clinical documentation standards.
- Highly organized with the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead virtual group therapy for adults living with SMI, facilitating connection and skill-building.
- Deliver individual psychotherapy as part of a member’s treatment plan.
- Integrate evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.
- Build therapeutic relationships and provide consistent support for recovery goals.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care, nutritionists, and community health workers.
- Practice whole-person care by addressing social, behavioral, and environmental health factors.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation upholding privacy standards.
- Participate in case consultations, interdisciplinary discussions, and program development.
