Requirements
- Psychologist or Master's level therapist
- Provisional or independent clinical license in the state of Illinois, Minnesota, or Wisconsin
- Core skill set of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)
- Core skill set of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Experience working in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide group therapy to patients in a safe and therapeutic milieu
- Develop effective therapeutic group relationships that promote positive change in patients
- Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other evidenced-based therapies
- Relay relevant clinical information to treatment team during daily rounds and as needed
- Develop program material and adjust group therapy content to fit group needs
- Engage in crisis management as needed
- Create and update treatment plans
- Chart in electronic medical records system
- Participate in professional development activities
- Meet with patients individually for case management as needed
