Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience in media investment, media buying, or agency commercial strategy within a major agency or holding company.
- Proven experience negotiating and managing agency-level upfronts, JBPs, spend commitments, and incentive structures.
- Strong knowledge of the media ecosystem, including linear television, CTV, streaming, programmatic, and retail media.
- Deep understanding of investment economics, including forecasting, rebates, credits, makegoods, and margin impact.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen for translating data into negotiation strategies.
- Experience building scalable processes, reporting systems, and controls.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a matrixed organization.
Responsibilities
- Own Wpromote’s media investment function and strategically manage agency spend to maximize client value and commercial outcomes.
- Develop investment strategies across priority media partners, including Joint Business Plans (JBPs), upfront commitments, incentive programs, and principal commercial agreements.
- Manage strategic investment agreements from negotiation through activation, pacing, reconciliation, and value realization.
- Establish processes and controls to provide visibility into partner commitments, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations to ensure accurate documentation, invoicing, and reconciliation.
- Build and improve investment infrastructure, including developing scalable tools, reporting, and agency-wide operating standards.
- Drive automation and AI integration across investment reporting, forecasting, and reconciliation.
