Requirements

- 12+ years people management/leadership development experience.
- 15+ years client-facing and project leadership experience.
- MPH or equivalent graduate degree.
- Proven success in securing and managing government contracts at state and local levels.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes, guidelines, compliance, and regulations.
- Knowledge of Public Health agencies, topics, and trends.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and government procurement platforms.
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to identify, capture, and win government contracts, including RFP responses, proposal development, and teaming arrangements.
- Oversee the creation and submission of high-quality, compliant proposals by coordinating internal teams, subject matter experts, and subcontractors.
- Develop and execute business development strategies focused on state and local government agencies.
- Build, mentor, and manage a team of business development professionals to achieve growth targets.
- Nurture strong relationships with government officials, agency representatives, and key decision-makers.
- Achieve targeted sales and revenue growth while collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and compliance.
