Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or Legal/Contract Negotiations, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle, healthcare operations, healthcare technology, consulting, or performance-driven environments.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading enterprise-level initiatives involving strategic planning, performance improvement, vendor management, or financial decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience with vendor selection, contract negotiation, relationship management, and performance oversight.
  • Proven ability to evaluate financial outcomes and ROI and use data to guide strategic decisions.
  • Significant leadership experience managing managers at Director level or above, or leading complex cross-functional teams.
  • Strong track record of influencing executive-level stakeholders and driving change across business units.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare technology, industry solutions, and automation.
  • Strong strategic thinking, goal-setting, and analytical capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership messaging skills.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with revenue cycle leaders to establish clear, achievable goals aligned with organizational priorities and strategic growth.
  • Develop and maintain frameworks, tools, and reporting mechanisms to track progress, performance, and strategic outcomes.
  • Research emerging industry solutions, technologies, and automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Identify, evaluate, and vet potential vendors and partners based on business needs and strategic fit.
  • Lead vendor negotiations and oversee contract execution to ensure favorable terms and risk management.
  • Provide enterprise oversight for approximately 125 vendor partnerships, maintaining alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor vendor performance, financial outcomes, and ROI, collaborating to address gaps and improve results.
  • Lead the Vendor Partnerships & External Performance function, including team recruitment, coaching, and development.
  • Influence executive stakeholders and drive cross-functional initiatives for measurable performance improvements.
