Requirements
- Master’s Degree in a behavioral health-related field (Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing).
- Active LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) or LCSW-C (Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Clinical) license.
- 7–10 years of progressive clinical leadership experience in behavioral health or substance use disorder settings.
- Demonstrated experience with regulatory bodies such as OMHSAS, DDAP, and CARF.
- Strong understanding of clinical performance indicators and peer review processes.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data for strategic decision-making.
- Ability to navigate crisis situations and exercise sound judgment.
- Ability to travel as needed to programs or for other meetings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organization’s clinical strategy to advance quality, outcomes, and operational performance.
- Provide leadership and oversight to regional and program-level Clinical Directors to ensure consistent standards of care.
- Lead implementation and fidelity monitoring of evidence-based practices such as ASAM and trauma-informed care.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements including OMHSAS, DDAP, and CARF.
- Monitor key clinical metrics like engagement, length of stay, and readmission rates to lead performance improvement.
- Mentor and develop clinical leaders, promoting professional growth and accountability.
- Collaborate with Finance and Business Development to align clinical priorities with organizational goals and Value-Based Purchasing initiatives.
- Represent the organization at conferences, regulatory meetings, and stakeholder collaborations.
