Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Master's degree preferred).
- Solid academic background in mathematics.
- Experience teaching or tutoring students at the K-12 level.
- Experience working with advanced or gifted students is preferred.
- Proficiency with Zoom or similar video conferencing software.
- Comfortable managing a virtual classroom environment.
- Must be available to teach Wednesdays/Fridays at 7:00 PM ET and Sundays at 12:45 PM ET.
Responsibilities
- Teach enthusiastic elementary, middle, and high school students in online classrooms.
- Utilize provided curriculum to deliver participation-oriented lessons.
- Facilitate skills development through problem solving rather than rote memorization.
- Manage small classes averaging 12 students.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and active student participation.
