Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years experience in civil engineering with a focus on site design, building plans, and coordination with U.S. Contractors.
- Demonstrated experience with grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Civil 3D experience preferred.
- Familiarity with HydroCAD, StormCAD, or similar software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of U.S. engineering standards and construction practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Prepare civil site plans for self-storage, industrial, and multifamily projects in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater, and utility plans from boundary surveys and topographic maps.
- Perform drainage, detention/retention, and cut-and-fill calculations.
- Apply value-engineering principles to reduce sitework and construction costs.
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and assist with project estimating.
- Create floor plans, building layouts, elevations, and basic renderings for mixed units.
- Assist with contractor bidding, bid comparisons, permitting, and project coordination.
- Provide schedule updates and support multiple active projects.
