Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering industry experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in people management, preferably leading senior engineers and managers.
- Proven track record of technical leadership and software architecture at scale.
- Experience with effective engineering processes and cross-team function.
- Proficiency in Ruby and Python.
- Understanding of data privacy and security fundamentals.
- Experience scaling teams through well-defined processes and documentation.
- Strong product thinking ability.
- Familiarity with React, MongoDB, SQL, and ElasticSearch (preferred).
- Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, and Looker (preferred).
- Experience within Sales Tech (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Define, set, and adhere to engineering goals and expectations.
- Drive a culture of excellence, learning, and fun.
- Critically observe and improve development and management processes.
- Work closely with engineering leadership, Product Managers, and Designers to deliver high-quality software.
- Partner with the GTM team by participating in customer calls and providing technical expertise.
- Participate in technical decision-making including sprint planning, design, and code reviews.
- Source, hire, and scale the engineering team.
- Manage team on-call responsibilities sustainably.
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance as a mentor.
