Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Active CPA or CMA certification.
- Big 4 public accounting experience.
- Experience in a senior accounting leadership role within a high-growth technology or SaaS organization.
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP and multi-currency consolidations.
- Experience with multi-jurisdiction accounting and local statutory reporting.
- Proven track record of automating financial processes and optimizing workflows.
- Proficiency with NetSuite ERP.
- Familiarity with modern accounting technologies such as FloQast, Tipalti, and Concur.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop international finance teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee global accounting operations and financial reporting across 14 international entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and applicable local statutory standards.
- Lead and manage an international finance team of approximately 15 professionals, primarily based in India.
- Direct multi-entity, multi-currency financial consolidations and complex statutory reporting requirements.
- Drive the development and implementation of scalable financial policies, procedures, controls, and workflows.
- Lead finance transformation initiatives by leveraging modern accounting platforms and AI-driven tools.
- Automate manual processes and optimize accounting workflows to reduce month-end close timelines.
- Ensure financial transactions and reporting meet regulatory, board, banking, and investor reporting standards.
- Own the integrity and reliability of financial data for executive and strategic decision-making.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, leases, commissions, and general ledger management.
