Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Active CPA or CMA certification.
- Big 4 public accounting experience.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP.
- Proven experience in a senior accounting leadership role within a growing technology or SaaS company.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, NetSuite preferred.
- Background managing day-to-day accounting operations including AP, T&E, leases, commissions, and general ledger management.
- Proven track record in multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction financial consolidations and local statutory reporting.
- Familiarity with modern accounting technologies and workflow automation tools such as FloQast, Concur, or Tipalti.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the company's global accounting operations and financial reporting processes.
- Direct an international team of approximately 15 finance professionals primarily based in India.
- Manage complex multi-entity statutory requirements across 14 global subsidiaries.
- Drive improvements in financial processes using software and AI-driven tools.
- Ensure financial transactions meet government, board, bank, and investor reporting standards.
- Lead, mentor, and foster a culture of professional development within the accounting team.
- Implement and refine accounting policies to support company growth and scalability.
