Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 5+ years of successful fundraising experience, including at least 3 years of frontline fundraising experience.
- Proven track record of personally closing $7 million+ in total fundraising revenue.
- Demonstrated success securing complex five- and six-figure commitments.
- Experience managing donor portfolios and developing solicitation strategies.
- Experience working within complex, matrixed organizational structures.
- Strong CRM and development technology capabilities.
- Excellent strategic, analytical, creative, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and adaptable with the ability to work independently.
- CFRE certification is preferred.
- Experience working within a multinational federated organization is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward high-net-worth individuals.
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 125–150 qualified donors and prospects across a defined U.S. territory.
- Achieve or exceed an annual fundraising revenue goal of $800,000.
- Develop tailored solicitation strategies for major gifts, including planned gifts and endowment opportunities.
- Guide the creation of compelling donor proposals and oversee stewardship, impact communications, and reporting.
- Maintain accurate donor records, activity tracking, and revenue forecasts through CRM technology.
- Collaborate with board members, executives, and stakeholders to identify prospects and expand giving opportunities.
