Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree such as JD, PharmD, MBA, or MPH preferred.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in healthcare compliance, legal, regulatory, or audit functions within the life sciences industry.
  • Significant experience supporting U.S. commercial activities and Market Access organizations.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. pharmaceutical compliance requirements including Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, and FDA promotional requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience advising on payer and customer engagement, contracting, and patient support programs.
  • Experience conducting compliance risk assessments, monitoring, auditing, and investigations.
  • Ability to travel domestically approximately 25% as business needs require.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders without positional authority.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Experience with compliance, expense, CRM, or analytics platforms such as Concur, Salesforce, or Power BI is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead Compliance business partner for the U.S. Commercial organization, with primary responsibility for Market Access and related access, reimbursement, and customer-facing activities.
  • Provide strategic, timely, and practical compliance guidance to senior Commercial and Market Access leaders on business strategies, product launches, customer engagement models, and emerging initiatives.
  • Advise on compliance matters involving payers, pharmacy benefit managers, group purchasing organizations, health systems, specialty pharmacies, distributors, wholesalers, integrated delivery networks, government accounts, and other market access stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance on pricing and contracting activities, discounts and rebates, formulary discussions, value-based arrangements, patient support and affordability programs, reimbursement activities, and other market access initiatives.
  • Partner with the Head of Compliance, Americas to execute North America compliance priorities and continuously strengthen a modern, risk-based compliance program.
  • Lead or support compliance risk assessments, monitoring activities, audits, investigations, and remediation initiatives involving U.S. Commercial and Market Access operations.
  • Design and deliver engaging, risk-based compliance training for Commercial and Market Access teams, including senior leadership and field personnel.
  • Directly lead, manage, coach, and develop assigned Compliance team members.
