Requirements
- 5-7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- Working knowledge of GAAP and STAT accounting principles.
- Comfort operating within a regulated, multi-entity insurance business.
- Hands-on experience with an accounting system or ERP such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct.
- Experience with an AP/spend platform such as Ramp or Bill.com.
- Demonstrated track record of using AI tools or agents to redesign accounting workflows.
- Ability to manage deadline-driven filings and recurring payments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for broker and carrier interactions.
Responsibilities
- Manage premium accounts receivable, including invoicing, installment billing, and collections.
- Execute spend management automation, including accounts payable, invoice coding, and card-spend policy enforcement.
- Prepare bordereau assembly and premium reconciliation across carrier and reinsurance relationships.
- Support statutory reporting, audit administration, and financial reporting deliverables.
- Build and implement AI agents to automate premium receivable cash application, reconciliation, and claims payment processing.
