Requirements
- 4+ years of combined experience in public accounting and/or corporate revenue accounting.
- Experience working in a high-growth SaaS technology environment.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of ASC 606.
- Ability to review and interpret complex contracts.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with revenue systems implementations or automation projects (preferred).
- Experience with an ERP system, preferably Netsuite (preferred).
- CPA candidate (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Execute monthly revenue accounting close activities and deliverables, including journal entries, deal review, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Sales and Legal during contract negotiations to provide accounting guidance and ensure proper revenue recognition.
- Review revenue contracts in detail to identify and document non-standard terms according to company policy and ASC 606.
- Author, update, and maintain revenue recognition policies and accounting memos.
- Develop scalable revenue accounting processes and drive automation initiatives.
- Contribute to special projects, system enhancements, and UAT.
