Requirements
- 4–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, accrual accounting, and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite.
- Proven month-end close and reconciliation experience.
- Strong financial statement preparation skills.
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Comfortable working remotely with U.S.-based teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly and quarterly close activities within a 5–7 business day timeframe.
- Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepaids, payroll, depreciation, and intercompany transactions.
- Reconcile cash, AR, AP, deferred revenue, inventory, and fixed assets.
- Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
- Investigate material variances and analyze budget vs. actual performance.
- Prepare PBC schedules and documentation for external audits.
- Identify inefficient workflows and support ERP optimization and accounting automation.
- Review work performed by junior accountants and mentor team members.
