Requirements
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accrual accounting.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and INDEX/MATCH.
- Expertise in account reconciliations and month-end close workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, payroll, depreciation, and intercompany transactions.
- Perform complex reconciliations including cash, bank accounts, AP/AR, and balance sheet accounts.
- Lead monthly and quarterly close activities, maintaining checklists and supporting documentation.
- Prepare Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements for executive review.
- Conduct budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual variance analysis with commentary.
- Manage audit support and maintain internal controls and SOPs.
- Review work completed by staff accountants and provide professional guidance.
