Requirements
- Experience as an operations generalist or in events management (workshops, conferences, or retreats).
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams and deadlines simultaneously.
- High-agency mindset to proactively identify problems and implement solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality across participant experiences.
- Proficiency with or ability to learn internal systems including Notion, Airtable, and Linear.
- Ability to travel 8-12 times per year for events (3-6 days per trip).
- Warm interpersonal skills with the ability to engage participants and guests effectively during in-person events.
- Commitment to AI safety and biosecurity mission-alignment.
Responsibilities
- Own operational workstreams end to end, including venue search, catering, travel, inventory, and logistics.
- Run admissions and participant operations, managing application forms, RSVPs, and onboarding communications.
- Coordinate high-profile guests, tracking invitations and acting as a primary point of contact.
- Deliver workshops in person, requiring travel to events predominantly in the UK and US.
- Design and scale internal systems using Notion, Airtable, and Linear, creating playbooks and templates.
- Shape workshop strategy and support team initiatives across GCP, OASIS, and other programs.
