Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in product management.
- 3+ years of experience owning integrations, APIs, platform, or partner-facing products.
- Proven track record of shipping non-trivial third-party integrations.
- Strong technical depth: ability to read API documentation, test endpoints, and reason about data models and sync architecture.
- Exceptional written specification skills that allow engineering teams to build with minimal follow-up.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating technical approaches with external partners or vendors.
- Strong ability to translate complex business context and customer workflows into actionable technical specifications.
- Experience handling data models, sync behavior, authentication, rate limits, and failure handling.
Responsibilities
- Own the integrations roadmap, including sequencing and depth of systems connected.
- Draft detailed technical requirements and specifications for all shipping integrations.
- Manage technical relationships and negotiate integration approaches with partner product and engineering teams.
- Define and manage internal success metrics for integrations, including activation, sync reliability, and rework rates.
- Develop reusable integration patterns and platform primitives to scale future integration efforts.
- Validate technical assumptions through hands-on sandbox testing and discovery before committing engineering resources.
- Identify and mitigate edge cases, synchronization issues, and schema conflicts early in the development lifecycle.
