Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; master's or equivalent experience preferred.
- 8 or more years in education, curriculum development, or content production.
- 5 or more years of operational leadership experience, including managing a team directly.
- Demonstrated ability to set clear expectations, provide feedback, and develop staff.
- Deep knowledge of content production, multimedia workflows, and LMS platforms.
- Understanding of release processes, including quality gates, versioning, and publishing.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Clear communication abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing relationships with internal partners, vendors, and contractors.
- Familiarity with AI and emerging technology to scale production and elevate quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead the building, testing, publishing, and release of Courses & Career products, turning roadmap priorities into production plans and release milestones.
- Manage, coach, and grow the Production and Release Management team, setting expectations and building capability across concurrent releases.
- Partner with Product Management, Program Management, and content teams to align scope, sequencing, and delivery dates with real capacity.
- Own catalog integrity end to end, including release, retirement, and decommissioning of offerings.
- Bring AI and automation into production and release workflows to lift throughput and quality.
- Manage vendors and contractors who support scaled production, holding them to clear scope and quality expectations.
- Communicate status, risks, and constraints to leadership, and respond to external changes such as state standard revisions.
