Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience with a track record in life insurance product development.
- Deep knowledge of the life insurance lifecycle from design and underwriting to administration.
- Hands-on experience with policy administration systems and operational workflows.
- Proven experience with ACORD standards and standardized insurance data exchange.
- Experience designing or maintaining eApplication and digital insurance systems.
- Familiarity with policy contract creation and document generation processes.
- Experience integrating carrier systems through APIs and data pipelines.
- Proficiency with life insurance illustration platforms.
- Strong analytical skills for identifying and assessing product opportunities.
- Expertise in modern product management practices including discovery, prioritization, and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development and evolution of life insurance products including Term, Whole, Permanent, Indexed Universal, Final Expense, and Disability insurance.
- Partner with insurance carriers to develop, launch, and optimize products within the ecosystem.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, and third-party stakeholders to improve the insurance lifecycle.
- Define product strategy and long-term vision aligned with business and customer objectives.
- Evaluate new insurance distribution channels and product opportunities for commercial value.
- Lead discovery initiatives, including hypothesis testing and experimentation, to achieve product-market fit.
- Manage integration of policy administration systems, eApplication systems, and document generation processes.
- Apply ACORD standards for consistent data exchange across insurance systems.
