Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, and/or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Four or more years of financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, planning, reporting, and accounting.
- Strong understanding of grant financial principles and administration.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Hands-on experience building and managing grant budgets.
- Solid foundational accounting knowledge, including comfort with debits/credits, reconciliations, and net asset schedules.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, with the ability to build and troubleshoot complex financial models across large datasets.
- Ability to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Build comprehensive donor proposal budgets and lead financial reporting across the full grant lifecycle.
- Manage grant revenues and expenses through funding map systems to support fiscal sustainability.
- Conduct monthly grant expense reviews and oversee audit preparation.
- Ensure adherence to donor restrictions and internal financial policies.
- Serve as a financial liaison between Revenue, FP&A, Accounting, and Global Program teams.
- Identify workflow efficiencies and leverage financial systems to strengthen grant portfolio management.
